Media Advisory: Meeting of the Canadian Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/30/11 -- The Canadian Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers will meet in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The meeting will be co-chaired by the Honourable Keith Ashfield, federal Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and the Honourable Daniel Shewchuk, Nunavut's Minister of Environment.
Ministers will be available for a media photo opportunity prior to the start of the meeting.
A news conference will take place at the conclusion of the meeting. Ministers Ashfield and Shewchuk will provide an update on the outcomes of the discussion and participating Ministers will be available to respond to questions.
The coordinates are as follows:
NOTE: All media planning to attend the event are required to pre-register by calling (613) 993-2674 before 5:00 pm on August 31. Pre-registered media should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the news conference and will be required to present valid media accreditation with photo identification.
