Board of Directors Elects Gary Longman After Acquiring Lake Forest Bank Baytree
(firmenpresse) - LAKE FOREST, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 08/29/11 -- The Board of Directors of EB Financial Group, Inc. announced today that it has elected Gary Longman as the Company's Chairman of the Board. Longman succeeds Willard Bunn III, who has served as Chairman since shortly after EB Financial Group acquired Baytree National Bank and Trust Co., a leading , in January 2010.
Gary brings eight years of bank holding company and bank board experience to his new role. Previously, Gary served as the Chairman of the Bank's audit committee as a member of the ALCO committee, and has been a member of the board of directors of the company since its inception. He also previously was Partner in Charge of the Audit Practice of KPMG, LLC Chicago office for several years.
Baytree National Bank & Trust Company President and CEO Mike Flynn said, "Gary is well respected by the Board Members and the Baytree leadership. I look forward to working with Gary and the rest of the Board to achieve our highest priority of serving the needs of our clients, employees and community."
Mr. Bunn will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company and as the Chairman of Baytree National Bank and Trust Co.
