HOUSTON, TX -- August 26, 2011 -- The Micro Dynamic Portfolio™ was updated recently and one of the additions was Flotek Industries (NYSE: FTK). Flotek Industries is a Houston, TX based oil field chemical, service and equipment vendor. According to Clay Mahaffey, CFA, Research Director of NEAA Venture Research LLC, "Flotek has a number of positive features. Fundamentally, it is a good business. Oil and gas prices should remain high for a number of years due to global supply and demand factors. With high prices there will be drilling which is where they make money. They have a strong position in two oil and gas basins that are probably the hottest growth areas in the US right now."
