This Summer , the iconic gin infused with imagination, launched the , an exclusive series of events and partnerships in collaboration with the most pioneering creatives in the UK.
From its beginnings, has broken the conventions of gin through the power of imagination - from its innovative recipe and unique distillation process to its statement blue bottle and new cocktail creations. Following this re-imagination of gin Bombay Sapphire has set out to inspire evenings out which are infused with imagination - encouraging a break with the norm and a drive to find the unexpected and most imaginative evening experiences through a series of events.
Marking the launch of the the first event saw a literati-infused evening with London's original and best literary nightclub, at on Thursday 4 August 2011. The co-curated evening fused improvised readings, performance and music from well-known and up-and-coming poets, writers and performers - including , , , , and - with inspirational cocktails and unexpected interactive activities, it delivered guests a truly re-imagined evening with a difference.
Breaking the norms of an evening out, and presented a modern day Gin Palace theme, which historically housed famous poets and authors who would converse on the world of literature whilst enjoying a tipple. From the dressing of the venue to the line up of performers, and let their creativity go wild, taking inspiration from world influencers and the ancient art of performance, with a literary and musical touch. Guests enjoyed bespoke cocktails - a refreshing summer cocktail created with , cloudy apple juice, elderflower and mint infusion, in keeping with the literati-infused nightclub theme. Classic cocktails - Bombay Sapphire Collins, Bombay Sapphire Bramble and Bombay Sapphire Ultimate G&T - were also available throughout the night.
Whilst sipping cocktails at the guests listened to clever improv artists, who created unexpected and original on the spot poetry and rhymes. The night's performances drew parallels between old and new worlds, taking a fresh approach to ancient poetry and classic readings, including a written by and on the evening inspired by the audience's reaction to the John Keats poem .
The second event in the series took place on Thursday 18 August at , showcasing a multi-sensorial journey of discovery with the renowned , pioneers of creative, interactive and immersive tasting experiences.
Inspired by a sensory tale of exploration and the finest botanicals from around the world, the evening presented an unexpected voyage of imagination, in a world full of colour, taste and theatre - delivering guests a re-imagined evening with a difference. The are known for pushing the boundaries of fine dining, bringing together the elements of food, drink and music to stimulate all the senses. The co-created evening with and was based around an intriguing quest to the find the Alchemist's Paradise, a unique adventure of five taste sensations, inspired by the exotic infusion of botanical ingredients found within gin.
On arrival guests were handed a passport to the and journey of imagination, passing through five unique experiences to unlock entry to the Alchemist paradise, which showcased inspiring molecular mixology at its finest. Each adventure offered an interactive taste experience, seeing guests create a cocktail of bubbles, bringing a ballerina to life and flying through edible fog - engaging all the senses and offering a taste of true inspiration.
Once guests completed the journey they enjoyed the bespoke Lemon and Almond Haze cocktail - a sky-blue blend of , almond milk, zesty lemon juice and essence of Moroccan orange flower, crowned with a pillow of lemon cloud bubbles - at the whilst enjoying music by the house DJ. Other cocktails - the Bombay Sapphire Aviation, Bombay Sapphire Ultimate G&T Bombay Sapphire Pego Club and Bombay Sapphire Summer Twist - were available throughout the evening.

As part of 's infused with imagination additional event programme, the gin brand is offering visitors to the a unique experience on Friday 26 August and Friday 20 September 2011 with the specially created and cocktail menu.
The has been designed to intrigue and inspire visitors of the . From a distance the bar appears Victorian in style with wood features and beautifully etched mirrors; however, all is not what it seems. As guests draw closer they will see that the front of the bar is actually a trick of light and the panels start to deconstruct. From this unexpected facade, expert mixologists will create imaginative summer cocktails for guests to explore.
The spans three Friday Late events in July, August and September and offers the chance for Museum visitors to learn new skills, take part in master classes, workshops, games and talks for free.
