NovaStor Launches Microsoft Hyper-V Support and Enhanced Management Features for its Public Cloud Backup Platform
NovaStor?s latest release of NovaBACKUP xSP enables service providers to protect Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware-based virtual machines. New management features aid in attracting new customers and importing existing data protection jobs.

NovaBACKUP xSP 12.2 enables service providers to offer data protection services to business customers running virtual machines on Hyper-V and VMware. New management features allow service providers to import existing backup jobs into their central management console, thereby massively simplifying the outsourcing process for new customers.
Virtualization: Cost Reduction Meets Data Availability
NovaStor?s cloud backup platform NovaBACKUP xSP 12.2 allows service providers to offer cloud backup services to their customers. The client interface is extremely easy to use, however, customers can also choose to let their service provider manage all backup and restore processes up to file level. With NovaStor?s latest expansion of support for virtualization technologies, service customers not only benefit from cost reduction through virtualization, but also reduce the costs for protecting their virtual machines. Using a professional cloud backup service for virtual machines under Hyper-V and VMware combines cost savings with full data availability for any number of virtual machines.
Streamlining the Outsourcing Process for Customers
With version 12.2 of the Central Management Console, service providers can import any number of workstation, server or virtual machine backup jobs a NovaBACKUP client has created and take over the management of these jobs. Whether existing service customers wish to book further services from their provider, or if service providers want to address new customers, the new 12.2 feature to directly import existing backup jobs simplifies the process drastically. Once the service provider is connected with the customer installation, existing jobs can be imported into the central management within a matter of seconds.
