Leading Producer of Energy Efficient Motors Completes Key Acquisition
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA and NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 08/25/11 -- announced that its portfolio company , which specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of highly energy-efficient electric motors, has closed the acquisition of a $23.4 million electric motor product line from (RBC). This move accelerates SNTech's entry into the fluid motor business. Post acquisition, the Company will be the number one after-market supplier to the pool and spa industry.
SNTech manufactures its current lines of motor products in Searcy, Arkansas. The Company also plans to expand further in the Louisiana and Gulf Coast markets.
"Electric motors consume over 60% of all electricity generated in the U.S.," according to Walter Schindler, Managing Partner of SAIL Capital, "and SNTech has developed an innovative product family of affordable 'smart' electric motors that deliver superior performance with 33-50% better efficiency."
