Exhibits Tell Stories Behind Agricultural Innovations of Today and Tomorrow

(firmenpresse) - RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 08/24/11 -- When nearly 150,000 farmers walk through the doors of the Bayer CropScience lot at the 2011 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Ill., they will have a different experience at this exhibit of exhibits. Visitors will get a first look at the new Museum of Modern Agriculture, a tradeshow experience that tells the stories behind the agricultural wonders of today and tomorrow.

Among the featured exhibits of the Museum of Modern Agriculture will be:

The story of herbicide resistance through the antagonist monster weed Palmer amaranth and its million seeds

A live show each hour in the Musuem's theater demonstrating the new On Demand™ seed treatment technology designed for simpler, customized seed treatment applications

A grand prize giveaway of a Polaris Ranger Rzr for growers who share their own stories about modern agricultural advancements

Interactive displays throughout the Museum that share the stories behind crop protection, growing pratices, seed and trait advancements in soybeans, corn, wheat and cotton featuring key innovative products like:

Corvus and Capreno corn herbicides

LibertyLink Ignite system for corn, soy and cotton

StrategoYLD fungicide for corn and soybeans; and





Prosoro fungicide for cereals.

Growers can find the Bayer CropScience Museum of Modern Agriculture at the Farm Progress Show lot 441 on Central Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets. This year's show runs August 30 - September 1.
