STATS ChipPAC Appoints Pasquale Pistorio as Advisor

("STATS ChipPAC" or the "Company") (SGX-ST: STATSChP), a leading semiconductor test and advanced packaging service provider, today clarified that effective 1 July 2011, Mr. Pasquale Pistorio was appointed as an advisor to its Board of Directors and that his appointment to the Board will take effect after the Company's next annual general meeting, subject to shareholder approval.
This press release supersedes the Company's SGX-ST announcement number 00040 dated 1 July 2011.
