PinkWood Ltd. Announces Exclusive Distributor Agreement With Taiga Building Products for Its PK Fireboard Plus Product

PinkWood is proud to announce that we have entered into an exclusive arrangement with Taiga Building Products to supply its PK FIRE BOARD PLUS. Taiga will stock PK FIRE BOARD PLUS in its Alberta locations and it will be sold to its network of dealers throughout the province.
For over a year Alberta builders have been faced with a new building requirement under Alberta Fire Code 5.6.1.2 to protect the spread of fire to adjacent buildings. PINKWOOD manufactures PK FIRE BOARD PLUS which is a factory coated OSB (oriented strand board) that is specifically designed to provide an effective barrier against fire with the added benefit of mold and moisture resistance.
About PK Fireboard Plus
When exposed to flames it produces a dense layer of protective char which insulates the panel surface and significantly reduces the ability of fire to spread while delaying more extensive burning.
