Fourth Annual Orinda Restaurant Tour to Launch September 27th
Attendees to Enjoy Culinary Delights While Benefiting Orinda's Public Schools
(firmenpresse) - ORINDA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/18/11 -- San Francisco's East Bay area food lovers will again have the opportunity to join a fun, culinary tour to sample their way through Orinda restaurants on Tuesday, September 27th. The Orinda Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Educational Foundation of Orinda (EFO), a non-profit organization providing financial support for quality education in Orinda's public schools, today announced plans for the fourth annual "Orinda Restaurant Tour." Last year's event was a sellout.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Registration, wine, hors d'oeuvres, and live music will start the popular event at Theatre Square from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The actual tour of Orinda restaurants will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with dessert following from 8:00 - 8:30 p.m. A cable car trolley will ferry guests across town with live performances on board by Orinda Idol winners.
Sue Breedlove, Orinda Chamber of Commerce president, labeled this not-to-miss event as the city's "best date night of the year," adding, "This is a great opportunity to again support our schools while getting to know the latest offerings by Orinda's fine restaurants!"
Each restaurant on the tour will provide a small portion that best represents the establishment at no cost to the event ticket holders. A glass of wine at Theatre Square is included in each ticket price. The cost of an individual ticket will be $30. Tickets may be reserved in advance using a Visa or MasterCard at the Orinda Chamber of Commerce web site -- . Reservations will be limited to 250 ticket holders, so attendees are encouraged to reserve early. If available, tickets on the night of the event will be $35.
The Chamber's goal is to again delight all attendees -- as they help Orinda's public schools and enjoy an evening of friendship, while discovering the tasty delights the great chefs of this charming town have to offer.
