Lars Steffen cannot imagine a life without modern communications services anymore. “ANDTEK’s services facilitate our work substantially”, says the Web & Content Manager of the iWelt AG, a service provider of customized ICT solutions based in Eibelstadt in Lower Franconia. By using the call distribution software “AND Phone Group ACD” the incoming calls are automatically forwarded to free staff members. This service is completely IP phone-based, allowing the staff of iWelt an overview of all lines in real-time and is thus similar to a call center. The staff members have certainly the possibility to make individual settings as to their availability – e.g. during breaks or vacation – and forward to the corresponding colleague.
“The value of this communication service is mainly due to the fast customer contact and the fast reaction times”, says Lars Steffen. “We benefit from comfort and time saving.”
Beside the call distribution service “AND Phone Group ACD” iWelt AG uses additional IP communications services of ANDTEK like e.g. “AND Phone Observer”. This solution is used for video surveillance at the corporate entrance and for the doorbell at the main entrance. The picture is directly displayed at the IP phone and it is also possible to combine different pictures.
In case “AND Phone Observer” is combined with other “AND Phone” modules it is possible to realize door openers and intercom systems or to trigger further activities.
The iWelt AG uses the function “AND Phone Broadcast” for general corporate announcements. In doing so it is not only possible to address the entire company building but also smaller groups of people. According to their requirements the simple administration allows them flexible management of different and numerically unlimited user groups according to local or functional aspects.
“Regarding day-to-day work our company cannot do without ANDTEK’s IP communications services being an excellent supplement to our Cisco system”, confirms Lars Steffen. “If we did not have these functions, we would painfully miss same by now.”
