A Dream Contest: Parks Canada Supports the "Park Dreams Contest: What's on Your Bucket List?"
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/18/11 -- To celebrate its centennial as the world's first national park service, Parks Canada, in support to the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS), invites Canadians to share their dream national park experience through the "Park Dreams Contest: What's on your bucket list?"
The contest, ending on August 24, 2011, invites participants to share, in 50 words or less, their dream experience in any one of Canada's 42 national parks online at .
The contest allows Canadians to use social media to showcase Canada's national parks are a must-see destination in the virtual world. It is one of many new initiatives that Parks Canada is undertaking to help connect young Canadians to Canada's treasured places.
The top-voted dream will win the grand prize trip for two to Nahanni National Park Reserve, courtesy of Nahanni River Adventures, valued at over $10,000.
Other prize packages include a Mountain Equipment Co-op gift certificate, Parks Canada Family Discovery Passes, great gear by CPAWS and a year's subscription to Explore Magazine. Participants can win 24 additional prizes by watching for the announcement of the "24Hours Take Over" on the contest website.
