Business Jet Manufacturer Calls on Leading Tent Rental Company American Pavilion to Provide Customized Clear Span Tent Solutions at a Miami Air Show; While the Client's Needs Would Be a Challenge for the Company, American Pavilion Succeeds in Meeting Those Needs and Reinforcing Its Long-Standing Commitment to Superior Service and Quality
(firmenpresse) - DANVILLE, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 08/17/11 -- was recently called upon by a leading business jet manufacturer to build a fabric structure to house their jets at a Miami air show. The client needed this tent to serve as a high-profile pavilion used to showcase their latest and upcoming jet models. They also wanted to be sure this structure would make them stand out from their competitors in attendance. American Pavilion was able to come up with an original solution that made the company's new models soar.
The client needed a 132' wide by 282' long clear span tent that would set them apart at the event from land and from the sky above. American Pavilion came up with a "blue sky" solution consisting of giant logos integrated into the roof panels of a Losberger tent. The sales/marketing and manufacturing team was able to produce two logos that were more than 165' long and 40' tall, and incorporated these directly into the roof panels of the tent.
Due to the fact that this event was on the runway of an airport, the client didn't want to use the standard anchoring process of drilling stakes into the concrete ground. As a response, the American Pavilion team worked with specialized engineers and determined they could use concrete blocks to secure the structure without violating strict U.S. building codes. They used 265 tons of concrete blocks that had to be hauled in on 13 heavy duty trucks.
The end product was stunning. The client's logos covered more than 13,000 square feet of the roof of the dazzling white tent. They could be seen from the air and the ground just as the client wanted. The jet manufacturer was so pleased with the pavilion that they contracted American Pavilion as the only provider of its corporate clear span tent structures for the next three years.
