Resinco(TM) Capital Partners Inc. Releases Q2 2011 Results
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/16/11 -- Resinco™ Capital Partners Inc. ("Resinco" or the "Company") (TSX: RIN)(FRANKFURT: L6V) announces its financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2011. The Company posted a net loss of $13,322,000 ($0.11 per share (basic)), versus a net loss of $4,060,000 ($0.03 per share (basic)) for the same period in 2010. At period end, the Company held investments with a fair value of $14.7 million ($0.12 per share), compared to $28.4 million ($0.23 per share) at December 31, 2010.
Resinco realized a gain of $425,000 on the sale of marketable securities during the quarter and recorded an unrealized investment loss of $5,896,000, compared to a realized gain of $514,000 and an unrealized loss of $4,709,000 for the same period in 2010.
