As the IPv4 era draws to a close, some analysts are predicting rapid adoption of IPv6 in the coming months as the remaining IPv4 addresses may be used up by mid-2012.
As enterprises and service providers roll out IPv6 networks alongside existing IPv4 infrastructures, both IPv6 and IPv4 servers and network devices in the hybrid environment will need to be monitored in parallel for some time.
