NVIDIA Names Michael LaBianca as Senior Vice President of HR
(firmenpresse) - SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/15/11 -- NVIDIA announced today that it has appointed Michael LaBianca, a long-time senior Silicon Valley executive, to serve as senior vice president of human resources, effective immediately.
LaBianca, age 54, will be responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of NVIDIA's global HR strategy. The company has more than 6,800 employees in over 20 countries worldwide.

LaBianca spent the previous 11 years in a variety of HR roles at Cisco, including the past four years as vice president of HR for emerging markets, and the preceding five years as vice president responsible for HR activities in the areas of compensation and benefits, acquisition integration, compliance and employee relations. Previous to Cisco, he worked in private practice as an employment lawyer at Pillsbury Winthrop, and Davis Wright and Tremaine, as well as in finance roles at Hewlett-Packard and Varian Associates.
LaBianca has a B.S. degree in accounting and a J.D. from Santa Clara University.
