MS Energy Services Sets Charco Sand Drilling Record
(firmenpresse) - CONROE, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 08/11/11 -- is proud to announce that it set the Charco Sand drilling record for Devon Energy Corporation on June 23, 2011. The well included a 1,216 foot curve and 4,454 foot lateral, and averaged over 800 feet per day from spud to TD (not including casing point days). The overall ROP averaged 13.35 feet per hour in the curve section, and 38.35 feet per hour in the lateral section. MS Directional provided the directional drilling support, using Mpact Downhole Motors configured with a 4-¾" performance power section and premium stator elastomer.
