Cavan Announces Results of Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders

("Cavan" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: CVN) announced today that all of the matters voted upon at the Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") of the Company held on August 9, 2011 were duly passed by shareholders. Additionally, each of the management nominees for election as directors were elected at the Meeting to serve as directors of the Company until the next annual and general meeting of shareholders of Cavan, being Andrew Mah, Harvey Lawson, Patrick Brandreth and Ernest Brisbane.
