Vior Inc.: Closing of the Sale of the Douay Property to Aurvista
(firmenpresse) - QUEBEC, CANADA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/10/11 -- SOCIETE D'EXPLORATION MINIERE VIOR INC. (TSX VENTURE: VIO)(FRANKFURT: VL5) - Societe d'exploration miniere Vior Inc. ("Vior") is pleased to announce the closing of the sale of the Douay Property to Aurvista Gold Corporation ("Aurvista") (see press release of May 26, 2011). Indeed, Aurvista has met all the conditions to acquire Vior's remaining 50% undivided participating interest in the Douay property by completing its first public offering, issuing to Vior 21,250,000 common shares of its capital share, and by going public.
As a result, Vior is now the largest shareholder of Aurvista (44%). Aurvista shares are listed on the TSX Venture under the ticker symbol "AVA".
