AKC Canine Health Foundation Honors Nestle Purina's Terence Block With 2011 President's Award
Foundation Recognizes Block's Commitment to Canine Health
(firmenpresse) - ST. LOUIS, MO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/10/11 -- The AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF) will honor Nestlé Purina PetCare Company's North American Pet Foods president, Terence E. Block, with its 2011 President's Award Saturday, August 13.
CHF, the most highly regarded organization funding sound scientific research exclusively for dogs, annually presents the award to individuals, clubs and organizations that have made an exceptional contribution to advancing canine health.
Lee Arnold, the Foundation's chairman of the board, will present Block with this unique recognition during the 2011 National Parent Club Canine Health Conference dinner at the Purina Event Center in Gray Summit, Mo.

Terry Warren, CHF chief executive officer and general counsel, has worked closely with the Breeder-Enthusiast Group at Purina over the last few years and has witnessed the positive impact of Block's passion for canine health, making him an ideal award recipient.
