Sun Valley Gold LLC: Expiry of Northern Freegold Warrants
(firmenpresse) - SUN VALLEY, IDAHO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/09/11 -- Sun Valley Gold LLC ("Sun Valley") announced today that 3,125,000 warrants to purchase common shares of Northern Freegold Resources Ltd. ("Northern Freegold") over which it exercised control and direction on behalf of Sun Valley Gold Master Fund, Ltd. (the "Master Fund"), a client account over which it has discretionary trading authority, have expired in accordance with their terms. Following the expiry of the warrants, Sun Valley exercises control and direction over 6,250,000 common shares of Northern Freegold for and on behalf of the Master Fund. The 6,250,000 common shares over which Sun Valley exercises control and direction for and on behalf of the Master Fund represent approximately 7.56% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Northern Freegold.
The common shares of Northern Freegold over which Sun Valley exercises control and direction were acquired for investment purposes. Sun Valley and the Master Fund may increase or decrease their ownership of securities of Northern Freegold depending upon future market conditions.
