SIU Continues Investigation into Fatal Collision in Morrisburg
(firmenpresse) - MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/02/11 -- Ontario's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is continuing its investigation into the death of a Williamsburg woman early Sunday morning outside Morrisburg.
Judith Fleury, 52-years-old of Williamsburg was driving a vehicle that was involved in a collision with an OPP vehicle. Both vehicles left the roadway and Ms. Fleury's vehicle struck a pole. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Two males and one female who were passengers in the Fleury vehicle sustained injuries. The males were taken to Ottawa Civic Hospital for treatment. The female was taken to hospital in Winchester.
The SIU assigned two investigators and three forensic investigators to investigate this incident. One officer has been designated as a subject officer and six officers have been designated as witness officers.
