"I Love Italian Shoes" - The Italian Footwear Manufacturers' Association Presents 15 Companies at the FFANY Summer Edition
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 07/29/11 -- ANCI, the Italian Footwear Manufacturers' Association, is hosting the summer edition of "I Love Italian Shoes" during the summer FFANY tradeshow, from August 2nd through August 4th. The collections will be shown in a special Italian footwear showcase at the Flatotel, on 135 West 52nd St. FFANY tradeshows connect manufacturers and retailers to more efficiently buy and sell, and develop business networks.
ANCI is presenting 15 of its nearly 1,000 associated companies at FFANY: Calpierre, Calzoleria Rivolta dal 1883, Capezzani, Eddy Daniele by Vitulli, Gardenia, Gianna Meliani, Manas, Marino Fabiani, Marino Orlandi, Massimo Santini, Mugnai, Roberto Guerrini and Valentino Orlandi. The selected brands include men's and women's lines, coming in medium-to-high price ranges.
Italian shoes signify tradition and style, symbolizing excellence on the international stage. "We are proud to represent some of Italy's finest shoemakers and craftsmen at FFANY. Italian attention to quality and detail is a rarity in the global economy," said Diego Rossetti, US Vice-President of ANCI. He also remarked the brand variety would "best fulfill the needs of the American footwear market."
ANCI has been committed to promoting the presence and image of Italian footwear worldwide. The presence of a group of selected companies at FFANY has been made possible through the joint promotional activities of ANCI and the Italian Trade Commission in the US market. ANCI has brought original thinking and marketing techniques to develop and promote the footwear industry, also hosting projects of economic, technical and scientific relevance to the shoe industry.
The "I Love Italian Shoes" project will celebrate its New York edition with a private cocktail and preview of the spring 2012 season at the Roof Terrace of the Gramercy Park Hotel on Tuesday, August 2nd.
