TD Waterhouse Launches Dedicated Mobile App for Traders and Investors
TD Trading App Can Be Used With TD's Trading, ISA and SIPP Accounts. Customers Can Trade Across 15 International Markets Without Being Tied to a PC. Available for Free to Iphone(R) and Ipod Touch(R) Users(1).
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, ENGLAND -- (Marketwire) -- 07/29/11 -- TD Waterhouse, the UK's leading online execution-only broker(2), enters the smartphone arena with the launch of a dedicated app for iPhone and iPod touch users that caters to the needs of both traders and investors.
The TD Trading App is free to download and can be used to place equity investment trades on 15 international markets in nine different currencies. Once they have logged into their account customers will have instant mobile access to their portfolio summaries, obtain live quotes and create a specific Watch List to monitor potential opportunities in real time (prices are delayed by 15 minutes when customers are not logged in to their account).
The TD Trading App also allows customers to switch between their linked accounts - such as their Trading Account, and accounts - to place trades. They will be able track their portfolio and see an overview of their accounts, including the details of the cash and stock they hold in each international currency. Above all, the TD Trading App provides peace of mind with personal information 128-bit encrypted so customers know they can trade securely whenever or wherever they are.

Non-customers can also take advantage of some of the apps' features such as accessing quotes (15 minute delayed prices) and creating their own Watch List. If non-customers wish to apply for a TD account they simply need to log onto or call 0845 607 6002.
The TD Trading App is the first of a suite of mobile trading services currently in development, including a dedicated app for Android users and apps to complement TD's recently launched and (which includes , Future and Forex) services.
