Virginia Beach Veterinarian Supports Special Needs Children

Johnson is actively involved with the philanthropic group The Noblemen, which raises money for special needs children in the Tidewater area. The non-profit organization has eight chapters throughout the Hampton Roads region. The Noblemen organization has also branched out to include Noblewomen, Nobleteens, and now even Noblepets. Dr. Johnson is leading The Noblemen in the development of Noblepets. This newest addition to The Noblemen organization will allow pet owners to recognize their pets as being special in their lives and in doing so, contribute to a fund set aside to help special needs children and veterans that can benefit from having an Aid Dog.
A few of many "noble" programs which are dedicated to helping the youth of Hampton roads include: a yearly toy drive which supplies over 3000 toys to local children, a dictionary project that donates over 1500 dictionaries to third graders and the Trolley Ride for EdMarc Hospice which provides Christmas gifts and groceries to families with terminally ill children. The Noblemen also help sponsor the My Big Day event for Hampton Roads children.
