Telemotive AG - Leader of the Automotive Expert Group by GENIVI Alliance
(PresseBox) - The GENIVI Alliance was founded in March 2009, marking the beginning of a new era of cooperation between automotive manufacturers, sub-contractors and resellers concerning the development and support of In-Vehicle Infotainment or IVI products and services. In 2011 the GENEVI Alliance possesses over 130 members.
Telemotive AG is a leader in automobile bus systems, particularly in Infotainment, making Telemotive a valuable member of the alliance. Telemotive AG has a long-lasting experience in embedded platform development, which lead to the creation of products such as the blue PiraT data-logger.
The latest advancement for the blue PiraT data-logger is called ?Diagnostic Log and Trace? (DLT), according to the Autosar (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) architecture. The DLT provides a standardized log and trace function for software components, the Basis-Software-Module RTE (Run-Time-Environment), DET (Development Error Tracer) and DEM (Diagnostic Event Manager). Additionally there is a standardised transmission protocol and file format (.dlt) for Log and Trace files.
Furthermore, Telemotive AG is currently developing a prototyping platform with 2 use cases:
a) Audio / Video Camera System for GENIVI ECU using MOST150
b) A navigation and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) application, in cooperation with NAVTEQ.
Telemotive AG is a committed core member of the GENEVI Alliance, which strives for the reduction of the time needed for development, marketing and the reduction of costs of IVI equipment and software.
In May this year Telemotive was elected leader of the Automotive Expert Group.
