SGS Provides Quality Assurance and Quality Control for Habac Nitrogenous Fertilizers and Chemical Plant in Vietnam
SGS Industrial Services was awarded a contract on April 28, 2011 to provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control for a groundbreaking project of revamping and extending the Habac Nitrogenous Fertilizers and Chemical Plant in Vietnam. Throughout the entire project, scheduled from May 2011 to May 2014, SGS will carry out Quality Assurance and Quality Control of equipment, including a document review, welding inspection, factory performance tests and issuing conformity certificates.
(firmenpresse) - On April 28, 2011, SGS Industrial Services in Vietnam was awarded a contract to provide extensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control services during revamping and extending works at the Habac Nitrogenous Fertilizers and Chemical Plant in Vietnam, scheduled to last from May 2011 to May 2014, due to its first-rate experience and competence.
In order to guarantee that the project will fulfill all applicable regulatory or client-specific requirements and will operate as intended, SGS experts will conduct complex quality checks and inspection as a part of SGS Supply Chain Services.
A team of SGS’s experts will provide a review of the design, specifications, drawings and specified standards, to assure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Furthermore, SGS Industrial Services will provide inspection, witnessing and verification of all actions undertaken during manufacture to establish the quality of materials, structures and systems. In addition, SGS will carry out welding inspection and factory performance tests to guarantee the best possible quality of installations and equipment, as well as issuing conformity certificates.
SGS Quality Assurance gives the facility owner confidence that the structures, components, materials and systems of the Habac Nitrogenous Fertilizers and Chemical Plant will meet the prescribed quality standards and will perform satisfactorily during service. SGS Quality Control focuses on the actual measurement, testing and supervision of a manufacturer’s own final product control, either by inspection of each unit or by sample testing.
