New range of reinforced protective hoses sets standards
(PresseBox) - Reinforced protective hoses are used in industrial manufacturing for bundling and guiding lines subject to mechanical loads in cable production, the automotive industry as well as in the areas of switching cabinet design and plant construction.
These hoses not only need to be non-abrasive and temperature-resistant but also capable of withstanding a variety of chemicals
HellermannTyton has developed an extended range of reinforced protective hoses, offering the right solution for every application in terms of the selection of materials, sizes and colours.
Due to the introduction of a new internal diameter of 16 mm, even cables and lines with very large diameters can now be bundled. Apart from reinforced hoses made of polyethylene, reinforced hoses are now also available made of non-abrasive polyamide 6 and temperature- and chemical-resistant polytetrafluor ethylene.
Polyamide 6 reinforced protective hoses are also available in a flame-retarding, halogen-free design (UL94 V0). These are especially intended for demanding applications in the areas of rail vehicle construction, navigation, aviation and in public buildings.
