SolidTack fastening elements with special adhesive - the solution for problem surfaces
(PresseBox) - Cable and wiring often has to be fed into areas where conventional fastening solutions cannot be used. Coated surfaces in particular often make it impossible to position anchorage points such as screws, studs, or bore holes. In such cases an adhesive mount can be used; coated surfaces, however, demand special adhesive for optimal holding.
Now HellermannTyton offers SolidTack, a new series of fastening elements with special adhesive.
SolidTack provides optimal adhesion on difficult surfaces. The adhesive used consists of a single acrylate mass and has very good initial bonding. This allows the mounting to be used on low-energy surfaces such as PP and PE, but also on powder-coated finishes.
For use with cable-ties, three different sizes of mount are available. Two different cable holders equipped with SolidTack adhesive tape are for direct guidance and fixing of flat and round cables.
