The tamper evident inventory and name plates made from material 1203 is a silver aluminised polyester and gives a clear indication of the integrity of the equipment the label is identifying. These tamper evident labels leave a clearly visible pattern if they are picked. Thus, any tampering can be spotted immediately. In addition, the high-quality labels are characterized by excellent resistance to many chemical substances.
Other tamper-proof labels of the HellermannTyton portfolio are made of material 1208 and are adequate for general identification purposes. These special fragmenting labels are made of an acrylate foil and can not be removed in one piece. The material is made to fragment when it is picked and thus guarantees a sure identification of tools and technical equipment.
For the permanent attachment of name plates in the automotive sector, HellermannTyton offers labels that meet the extreme requirements of marking on vehicles.
A specially developed label made of the polyester material 951 is a combination of a tamper evident label and an appropriate protective laminate. The silver label leaves a checkerboard-like pattern if it is picked. The transparent laminate, which overlaps by a few millimetres, provides the necessary resistance for outdoor use. This combination does not only meet the requirements of the Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA: Federal Motor Transport Authority), but also fulfils the high expectations of the automotive industry. The sophisticated label guarantees both: A simple to apply visible security label with excellent resistance to dirt, water and abrasion.
