Releasable fastening solutions: High strength for temporary applications
(PresseBox) - In exhibition stand construction, in the gardening- and landscaping industry: For many applications where short-term installations are needed, flexible fastening solutions are required. Therefore, HellermannTyton have developed a wide range of releasable ties which can be used in various applications. All have the benefit of stability, high strength and a flexible, temporary use.
Good examples for releasable fastening solutions are the cable ties of the REZ-series. The innovative design of the tie head ensures easy and fast handling. The quick release mechanism guarantees an easy re-opening with only one hand - even under stress or when wearing work gloves.
The SOFTFIX-family can be characterised as an all-rounder concerning easily reusable fastening for use indoors and outdoors. The UV- and weather resistant ties are manufactured from tear-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane. Due to the soft and flexible material, the SOFTFIX is particularly suitable for use on data and fibre-optic cables. Additionally the ties are releasable and reusable which is ideal for bundling cables in temporary applications such as musical events, theatres or cable harnesses.
As from now the SOFTFIX-ties offer a special benefit for the user. A second locking device at the back of the head enables an additional loop for application. Therefore, the ties of the new SOFTFIX-family can be used twice.
Another innovative HellermannTyton product in the field of releasable ties is SpeedyTie with the quick release mechanism Speedy-Click. The big lever of Speedy-Click allows releasing and locking even with one hand and when wearing work gloves. SpeedyTie is available in black and in yellow. Due to the high visibility of the yellow SpeedyTie, it can be seen clearly and quickly - even under poor weather conditions.
