The webinar will focus on corrosion mechanisms, inspection of welds for damage, accuracy of Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) and how Pre-Service Inspection will benefit the In-Service Inspection.
(firmenpresse) - In the light of growing interest in effective weld inspection methods and techniques, the SGS Competence Center for Non-Destructive Testing is pleased to invite you to a free 60 minute webinar on an ’Introduction to Weld Root Corrosion on Offshore and Onshore Installations’.
SGS offers its globally available and free webinar on Weld Root Corrosion on Offshore and Onshore Installations in order to inform participants about corrosion mechanisms and inspection methods. Furthermore, attendees of the webinar will have a chance to learn about the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of various weld inspection techniques. In addition, SGS seeks to provide attendees with thorough information on the accuracy of Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) as well as Pre-service and In-services applications of TOFD.
Based on the extensive experience and expertize in the field of Non-Destructive Testing, SGS comes equipped with not only the theoretical background, but also useful practical information on reproductibility during multiple interventions, inspection of damage at an early stage, monitoring of damage as well as information on how Pre-Service Inspection can benefit In-Service Inspection.
Hosted by Ton Kooren, Global Expert Advanced NDT, the free 60 minute webinar will be available across the globe in Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa in four sessions in order to meet the needs of attendees in every time zone.
