"Field of Vision" catalog 2011 - 48-page compact source of product information relating to the topic of displays
(PresseBox) - Make it easier for developers to find the best possible display solution - this is the objective that the MSC-Gleichmann Group set by providing a free "Field of Vision" catalog 2011.
In addition to industrial TFT displays from AUO, CMI, Hitachi, LG Display and NEC with diagonal screen sizes from 1.5 inch (3.81 cm) to 65 inch (165.10 cm), the new catalog 2011 now also includes TFT modules from LiteMax. LiteMax develops and manufactures high-quality TFT displays with diagonal screen sizes from 6.4 inch (8.94 cm) to 42 inch (106.68 cm) and brightness up to 2200 cd/m².
Furthermore, the new catalog offers developers and buyers extensive information about stretched TFTs from Tovis (available in many special formats), the public TFT displays from SolarView (modified for use under adverse lighting conditions, for example, digital signage) and TFT displays from the Japanese manufacturer Optrex (featuring an extremely wide temperature range and high brightness).
The product range has also been significantly expanded in the area of touchscreen displays and eight pages of the new catalog are dedicated to this. Highlights include the up to 70 inch (178 cm) diagonal screen size, dual-touch solutions from Zytronic and the projected capacitive touch (PCT) based multi-touch solutions from TRS Star.
The products from TRS Star currently offered are single-chip based multi-touch solutions for diagonal screen sizes up to 12.1 inch (30.7 cm) and four-chip solutions for diagonal screen sizes from 10.4 inch (26.4 cm) to 22 inch (55.9 cm). Not only is the touch controller but the film is also developed by TRS itself. The necessary firmware adaptations in the touch controller as well as the integration of the multi touch system into the particular customer application are handled by MSC-Gleichmann.
A six page section of the catalog provides a quick overview of the latest LCD modules from Ampire, Clover, GE Vision, Hitachi and Truly.
The product range also includes complete display kits with controls from Promate, Kordis, Techstar, eCount and F&S Elektronik as well as a large number of embedded SBCs, COM products, industrial main boards, projectors and monitors.
