Mobile Internet: e-Spirit brings Content Management on the iPad
Editors can work efficiently wherever they are / WebClient functionalities of the FirstSpirit CMS are supported / Video: CEO Jörn Bodemann presents key features
(firmenpresse) - Dortmund, February 15, 2011. e-Spirit AG (www.e-Spirit.com) presents a technology study on the use of the FirstSpirit CMS on the iPad, adopting the content management system"s WebClient for the Apple tablet. This allows web editors to use the editing process wherever they are with the mobile device.
WebClient is the easy-to-use, intuitive editor interface of FirstSpirit and provides for processing content directly on websites opened in a browser. WebEdit functionalities are offered on the iPad, allowing editors to efficiently work on websites wherever they are. They can generate content quickly and conveniently on their iPad and publish the information. It is also possible to amend structured or unstructured web content. Editors have full access to search functions and the media management component of the CMS while performing these tasks. Workflows within the content management system can be started or edited via WebClient on the iPad. This means heads of department or senior editors can also review and immediately release content on the go. This is a huge benefit for the media industry as well as for press and marketing specialists and any organization that depends on always up-to-date web content.
In a video, Jörn Bodemann, CEO of e-Spirit, shows how to use the FirstSpirit CMS on the iPad: www.e-Spirit.com/iPad.
