Alliance Fiber Optic Products, Inc. (AFOP) Announces the Release of SC and LC Internal Shutter Adapters
These units have a retractable shutter inside the adapter body, which is only actuated by inserting the SC or LC connector ferrule into the adapter. Our special design prevents endface damage of the connector ferrule.
(PresseBox) - Alliance Fiber Optic Products, Inc. (AFOP) announces the release of a new series of fiber optic SC and LC internal shutter adapters. These units have a retractable shutter inside the adapter body, which is only actuated by inserting the SC or LC connector ferrule into the adapter. Our special design prevents endface damage of the connector ferrule. These shutters are fully automatic to provide necessary eye safety from potentially harmful light without any additional manual intervention.
AFOP internal shutter adapters are available in SC simplex/duplex and LC duplex/quad designs. They are available with zirconia or phosphor bronze alignment sleeves in flange or flangeless body types.
