Prof. Siegfried Wolf is Nominated to Become Member of the Supervisory Board of Continental AG
Continental's Executive Board will apply for the appointment at the local court
(PresseBox) - Prof. Siegfried Wolf (53) is nominated to become a member of the Supervisory Board of Continental AG. The Supervisory Board of the international automotive supplier unanimously expressed its support for this nomination. The Executive Board of Continental will apply for the appointment at the local court in Hanover early next week. Wolf will succeed Rolf Koerfer, who resigned as a member on November 29 2010 with immediate effect. The Austrian Wolf (53) is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Russian Machines OJSC after being Co-Chief Executive Officer of automotive supplier Magna International.
"I am pleased about the support of Prof. Wolf as a new member of Continental's Supervisory Board that we will enhance with a renowned as well as experienced expert of the international automotive industry," said the Chairman of Continental's Supervisory Board, Prof. Dr. Ing. Wolfgang Reitzle. He expressed his appreciation for Rolf Koerfer for his dedication and contributions.
