Optimization of conducting and casting processes - RAMPF Dosiertechnik hosts specialist symposium Technology days on November 18 + 19, 2010 in Zimmern
Zimmern o.R., October 21, 2010 – “It is only with the help of suitable joining techniques that innovative products can be manufactured using new materials”, asserts Professor Dr. Klaus Dilger of the Institute of Joining and Welding Technology (IFS) at the Technical University of Braunschweig. He will be delivering a presentation on the latest trends in casting technology at the specialist symposium “Conducting and Casting” to be staged by RAMPF Dosiertechnik in Zimmern in Southwest Germany. The mechanical engineering firm is expecting over 100 visitors to attend this practically-based informative two-day event on November 18 and 19, 2010.
(firmenpresse) - Increasing miniaturization, flexible batch sizes, short cycle times, ever greater standardization in production – the modern world of joining technology is faced with ever more conflicting demands. Against this backdrop, RAMPF Dosiertechnik has issued an invitation to attend a two-day specialist symposium entitled “Conducting and Casting” to be held at its headquarters in Zimmern o.R.. The event will focus on practically-oriented methods of optimizing processes relating to sealing, bonding, conducting and casting. Visitors will be offered a unique insight into a number of important key sectors, ranging from automotive engineering through photovoltaic industry to medical technology. On offer will be presentations from the companies Otto Chemie, Bergquist and Elantas Beck, drawing on application examples including the optimum casting of objects such as blood filters, factors to be considered in the sealing of sensors or how 2-component thermal conduction pastes can be used to help in cooling components exposed to extreme thermal stress. The latest scientific findings will be delivered by Professor Dr. Klaus Dilger, Head of the IFS at the Technical University of Braunschweig.
During the course of the Technology Days, RAMPF Dosiertechnik will naturally also be offering a first-hand insight into the manufacturing and application scope of low-pressure mixing and dispensing systems. The 2000th machine only recently rolled off the production line in the company’s Zimmern o.R. headquarters. Its sister company RAMPF Giessharze will also be using the forum to present the latest polyurethane, epoxy and silicone materials for electrical encapsulation.
