(firmenpresse) - The 1. German-Russian Emergency and Catastrophe Symposium took place in Sankt Petersburg, Russia, in May 20 - 21, 2010 and is documented on www.TelMedReview.eu . The 2. German-Russian Emergency and Catastrophe Symposium is scheduled for November 24 - 28, 2010, in Hamburg / Berlin, Germany. During the opening ceremony of the 1. German-Russian Emergency and Catastrophe Symposium the welcome addresses were held by Sergey Bagnenko, Dzhanelidze-Institut for Emergency Medicine, Sergey Andenko, Legislating Assembly of St. Petersburg, Heino Peters, Department of Internal Affairs, Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Dr. Dr. Timo Ulrichs, Federal Ministry of Health, Berlin and Gerd U. Radtke, NMC.

1st Working session about Concepts for handling major disaster events
Moderated by Heinzpeter Moecke, Hamburg, Sergey Bagnenko, St. Petersburg talked about "Facit of major disaster events in Russia in 2009", Alexey Boikov, St. Petersburg about "Major disaster handling in St. Petersburg", Manfred Kanzler, Hamburg about "Preparation on Major International Events by the Security Authorities" with Examples of the FIFA Football Worls Championship 2006 and 2010, Susanne Matzke-Ahl, Munich about "Air Rescue in Germany - Organization, financing and medical services and Julia Shoigu, Moscow finally about "Organization of the psychological service of the Russian Ministry for Catastrophe Protection". In the afternoon the participants of the Symposium visited the site of the Emergency Control Center of St. Petersburg

2nd Working session about Provision and medical care of heavily burned individuals
Moderated by Sergey Bagnenko A. Aleksev Vischnevskiy, St. Petersburg, talked about "Heavily burned and catastrophe medicine", Heino Peters, Hamburg, about "Coordination tasks of the Control Center - Countrywide placement of beds for burned individuals", E. Kamkin, Perm, about "Clearance of consequences of a catastrophe at the prehospital stage", Oleg Fedotkin, Perm, about "Emergency and rescue management during the burning of the Night Club in Perm", S. Makarov, Moscow, about "Medical care for patients/victims of train catastrophe events", Alexander Fisun, Moscow, about "Clearance of the site regarding the terror attack against the ?Nevskij Express"", Klaus-Jürgen Bieger, Frankfurt, about "The Emergency Concept of the Deutsche Bahn AG in train accidents", Jörg Schallhorn, Hannover, about "What was the learning effect for the German Emergency and Rescue Service from the train accident of Eschede" and finally Viktor Popov, Ekaterinenburg, about "Problems related to indemnifications for traffic- and/or catastrophe events".





3rd Working session about Emergency concepts to handle heavy train accidents
Moderated by Heino Peters, E. Kamkin, Perm, talked about "Evacuation and medical care of patients on the occasion of a blaze/burning in a major city" and N. Evimow about "Psychological attendance for injured individuals after a train catastrophe".

4th Working session with Experts discussion
Moderated by Heinzpeter Moecke about "Outlook and possiblities for a future cooperation, planning of further symposia and conjoint and final declaration".

E-Health and Telemedicine will help to improve quality management in all areas of medical service regarding in- and out-patient care.

Tele Medicine Review is not designed for broad open publication among everybody acting in the world wide healthcare market. Tele Medicine Review will concentrate all sorts of medical and medical research activities among defined experts who are professional part of the community, but will be still open for new members, ideas and proposals.

Tele Medicine Review is also addressed to students and young scientists who are looking for new streams, targets and results in medical progress as well as in rescue and emergency general and infrastructure improvements.
