Flexibly applied metal detectors-components
Mesutronic - metal detector generation METRON 07 combined to meet user specifications with metal sensors, operator part and control unit / Protocol files can be stored on an USB stick in conformance with IFS / increased recognition accuracy for complex products
(firmenpresse) - NUREMBERG / KIRCHBERG IM WALD - limitless flexibility with a new generation of metal detectors: Mesutronic Geraetebau GmbH, one of the globally acting manufacturers of industrial foreign body detection systems, will be presenting the series METRON 07 at the Nuremberg FachPack 2010. Metal sensor, operator part and control unit - three components of a networkable detector system can be combined to meet user specifications. "We are taking a completely new system approach", announces the leading shareholder Karl-Heinz Duerrmeiner. Around 33,000 visitors are expected at the meeting place of packaging experts from September 28 - 30 (Mesutronic booth: Hall 9 / 9-125).
The new Mesutronic metal sensor is, for example, integrated in the packing machine or control scale of an existing product line. "The metal detector with the seeker head is simply installed in an existing environment", describes Karl-Heinz Duermeier the advantage of the new series. Metal sensor and operator part can be controlled via a cable-connected data network (Ethernet) from the control unit of the existing production line.
"Image phase" compensates disturbance effects
The recognition accuracy of the detector series METRON 07 will be increased considerably, says Duermeier. Particularly for complex inspection products such as fresh meat or cheese, Mesutronic has developed a precisely functioning product effect-compensation technology. Metal detector operations in the wet area, routine high pressure cleaner attacks and the usage of aggressive cleaning agents is no problem for the stainless steel seeker head (in IP66 or optionally in IP69k). According the Duermeier, a color touch screen LCD display with self-clarifying menu management simplifies the operation and saves time during commissioning.
Up to 1000 product parameter data sets can be stored as needed in a flash memory which is secured against network failure. An intelligent user administration ensures reliable protection against unauthorized access to the metal detector. Every metal detector can be checked and adjusted online by the manufacturer with the aid of the remote maintenance module "mesuREMOTE". But also without the network all event and product parameter data can be stored quickly and per USB stick. "A USB connection has meanwhile become a standard of the new metal detector generation METRON 07", states Karl-Heinz Duerrmeier.
