New insertion module for hybrid industrial-connectors
Combination-module with pneumatic valve and electrical contacts
(PresseBox) - With the new AirLectric-Module GES Electronic & Service has expanded its pneumatic program. The triple-pole insertion module for hybrid industrial connectors combines a pneumatic valve with two electrical contacts for ground/screen connection or low-voltage transmission. This two-in-one solution provides significant space savings and targets applications where electrical transmission needs to be supported by cooling air.
The module performs an operating voltage of up to 630 V at 40 A and an operating pressure of up to 8 bar (116 psi) while locking on one side when disconnected. The fibreglass-strengthened PA6.6 module-housing enables operating temperatures from -20°C to +100°C and is in accordance to UL94-VO.
The modules are inserted into a fixation frame and then into an IP65 aluminium cast-housing available in different sizes with a wide variety of locking-systems, cable-entries and ?glands. A maximum of seven modules for high voltage-, power-, pneumatic-, signal- and data-transmission can be placed in a single housing and enables customized realisation of complex connectivity solutions.
All GES Modules are fully compatible to the worldwide common systems Amphenol C146M, Lapp Contact EPIC MC, Walther Werke Procon MO, Weidmüller Rockstar ConCept and Wieland revos FLEX.
