TPG The Project Group and Alegri International Group Announce Strategic Partnership
Offers customers benefits of dovetailing project management and business process optimization
TPG The Project Group, a full-service provider of enterprise-wide project management (EPM), and Alegri International Group, Germany’s leading provider of SharePoint-based Microsoft business solutions, today announced that they have agreed a strategic partnership. Customers benefit from the combined expertise of specialists in Microsoft Project and SharePoint – two complex software solutions whose technologies increasingly overlap. Both companies are based in Munich, Germany, and are Microsoft Gold Certified partners. Their cooperation will enable customers to implement project management, collaboration and ECM/DMS projects faster, helping to reduce costs.
(firmenpresse) - One reason behind the partnership of the two companies, which are recognized specialists in their respective sectors, is based on the wide-ranging technical evolution of Microsoft’s server products. Another is the increasing overlap between the companies’ two consulting areas, which until recently were separate – multi-project management and business process optimization.
“Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint are becoming more powerful and dovetailing with each other much more, both from a technical point of view and in the way they’re used in everyday business processes,” says Stavros Georgantzis, managing director of TPG The Project Group. More and more companies place equal importance on tailored project management based on consulting and the implementation of the right methodologies and technologies; and on optimized collaboration, workflow, and knowledge and content management. In addition, there is an increasing demand for deep expertise in the integration of these solutions with ERP systems like SAP.
“The partnership will provide customers with a single point of contact for the specialist knowledge of two Microsoft partners with many years’ experience,” adds Andreas Emhart, CEO of Alegri International Group. “Customers benefit from their combined, best-in-class expertise along with a more efficient implementation at lower cost.”
