CMX Capital Markets Exchange AG announces appointment of Antonio Governale and Jonathan Clelland to the Board.
Zurich, May 6th 2010, CMX Capital Markets Exchange AG (“CMX”) announces that Antonio Governale and Jonathan Clelland will join the company as CEO and COO respectively. Messrs Governale and Clelland’s appointments to the board of CMX are to be ratified at the next Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be convened on 28 May 2010.
Mr Governale has a background in European capital markets and is the former Managing Director of MAC a Milan based stock exchange regulated SME market. From 2003 to 2007 Mr Governale held positions as Head of International Business Development for Western Europe and Manager Corporate Advisors & Admissions at the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
Mr Clelland is the former COO of CRA International Ltd. and of Shearman & Sterling (London) LLP. Prior to joining Shearman & Sterling he was the COO of the Corporate Finance and Advisory Division of HSBC Investment Bank Plc. He also held a number of other senior management positions in HSBC.
Messrs Governale and Clelland bring a wealth of international management experience in the financial services sector and will provide a tremendous contribution in the development of the company’s international strategic growth plans.
