serVonic Offer for Dialogic® Media Gateways - Free fax server solution for Microsoft Exchange 2010 and OCS
Olching/Renningen, 30th April 2010: serVonic now provides a full fax server software license for the installation on Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateways. This Special Offer contains a client/server-version of IXI-UMS for free use, with no time limit. With this offer, the Olching-based software manufacturer allows a free entry to potential customers who want to make use of the service fax in combination with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 or 2010 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007. The co-operation with the Microsoft Office Communications Server 14 will be possible, too. “The IXI-UMS software can be installed on the DMG4000 Gateway directly and be operated as fax server”, explains Karin Abrell, Manager Marketing / PR at serVonic.
(firmenpresse) - For the co-operation between Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft OCS and the PBX, Dialogic® with the DMG4000 offers a media gateway for the handling of the unified messaging services Voice contained in the Microsoft Exchange Server and for the possibilities provided for video conferencing or presence management via the OCS. The service Fax as full fax server solution is provided by serVonic’s IXI-UMS as supplement. “serVonic and Dialogic® have already been working together successfully for many years,” says Gerhard Reinhold, Regional Sales Director D-A-CH at Dialogic®, about the new offer. “We are pleased that serVonic provides an easy to use fax server solution for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and OCS, which supplements our products optimally.”
serVonic’s Special Offer Package for the Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateways – in contrast to the flexible IXI-UMS Enterprise Version – is limited to a fixed range in terms of the number of users, channels, Connectors and features, the license is only valid in combination with a DMG4000 Gateway. The IXI-UMS Special Offer can be integrated with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, 2007 or 2003. A subsequent change to the IXI-UMS Enterprise Version with full flexibility in the selection of the IXI-UMS services like SMS and further components is possible without reinstalling the software: Precondition is only the purchase of the respective IXI-UMS Enterprise license.
