Eva Kaijser Appointed Chief Financial Officer

Luxembourg, April 13, 2010: Mr. Karl-Axel Waplan, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Northland Resources S.A. (Northland) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Eva Kaijser, to the position of Chief Financial Officer, with
immediate effect.
Ms. Kaijser has over 10 years of experience working with Boliden AB, a European
metals producer. She has been a member of Group management since 2007. Most
recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development
and before that SVP, Information and Investor Relations. Ms. Kaijser also has
experience as Finance and Treasury Manager and Group Controller.
Ms. Kaijser holds a B.Sc., Business Administration and Economics, from Stockholm
University.
"Eva has a wide range of financial and market experience that is very valuable
to Northland at this time in the Company's development. She has hands-on
experience with large syndicated loans and equity issues, and is familiar with
issues particular to mining companies," commented Mr. Waplan.
Ms. Kaisjer succeeds Aurelian Bukatko, who has resigned as Chief Financial
Officer and Corporate Secretary. The Northland Board of Directors would like to
thank Mr. Bukatko for his efforts, in helping grow Northland from an early
exploration company to a development company.
