Arbeitsschutz Aktuell – Safety and Health 2010 in Leipzig Excellent response to silver anniversary
Numerous well-known companies and institutions to exhibit at 25th trade fair and conference, with two-thirds of the exhibition area already reserved / Trainees can submit entries for the German Youth Occupational Safety Award until 30 July / Prize introduced for young, innovative companies.
Leipzig/Karlsruhe (Germany), 18 March 2010. With more than half a year still to go before the silver anniversary of Arbeitsschutz Aktuell – Safety and Health, the event is proving very popular. Well over 100 companies and institutions have already indicated they will be exhibiting at the 25th trade fair and conference, which is being held from 19 to 21 October 2010 at the Leipzig Exhibition Centre, Germany. At 21,000 square metres (gross), the exhibition space set aside is once again larger than last time round, but two-thirds of it has already been reserved. “Compared with Arbeitsschutz Aktuell 2008 in Hamburg, we are offering around an extra 2,000 square metres in Hall 1 at the Leipzig Exhibition Centre,” states Elvira Freier, Project Manager of the organiser HINTE GmbH.
(firmenpresse) - Well-known companies and institutions will be using Arbeitsschutz Aktuell 2010 as a prevention forum. As in previous years, exhibitors will include large regional resellers such as the Leipziger Handelsgesellschaft. The IVPS (German Association of Manufacturers of Personal Protective Equipment) will once again be represented by a large number of its members. The DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) will be staging its largest ever presentation on topical issues. According to the DNB (German Office Network), Arbeitsschutz Aktuell will be a key publicity platform this year.
Opportunity to win an all-in trade fair package
2010 marks the 50th anniversary of Arbeitsschutz Aktuell's ideally responsible, the FASI (German Joint Association of Safety Engineers and Safety Inspectors). HINTE GmbH is therefore joining forces with the FASI to offer a prize to young, innovative companies. Businesses that meet the criteria can win themselves an all-in trade fair package with special advertising benefits. The eligibility requirements will be posted online at the end of April.
Highly practical and innovative
Occupational safety experts will be tackling the challenges faced by society in conference blocks under the slogan “Focus on shaping a safe and healthy future”. Trainees, meanwhile, are invited to enter the German Youth Occupational Safety Award 2010 (JAZ). Anyone who has made a particularly practical and innovative contribution to improving health and safety at the workplace can submit their entry before the deadline of 30 July 2010. Three winners will share a total prize fund of 6,000 euros. The entry criteria and reports on winners from previous years can be viewed at www.jugend-arbeitsschutz-preis.de. “Arbeitsschutz Aktuell – Safety and Health” takes place every two years at different trade fair venues. Partners from institutions and businesses in the relevant regions are actively involved in determining the topics covered. The FASI sponsors the three-day trade fair and the conference, which in 2010 is being held under the slogan “Focus on shaping a safe and healthy future”.
Arbeitsschutz Aktuell is organised by HINTE GmbH. The FASI comprises three member organisations – the VDSI (Association of German Safety Engineers), the VDRI (German Association of Inspection Engineering) and the VDGAB (Association of German Factory Inspectors).
