Leverkusen, Germany - Biofrontera AG (DSE: B8F) announced that as of today its
shares are (WKN 604 611) included into the NRW-MIX50 Index.
The Düsseldorf stock market (www.boerse-duesseldorf.de
International Investors Fair in Düsseldorf in September 2007. The Index
comprises the 50 largest public companies of North Rhine-Westphalia that are not
part of the DAX (an index of Germany's 30 largest companies). The NRW-MIX50
Index is driven by performance, weighting companies according to the market
capitalization of their free floats. Only companies with a free float of more
than 5% are eligible to becoming part of the index. Also conditional for
participation is the location of headquarters in North Rhine-Westphalia. In a
6-month cycle the composition of the Index is reassessed and potentially
adjusted.
The calculated start of the Index was 21 March 2003, with a basic value of
1,000 points. Today the Index has reached 2,775 points and, therefore, shown a
considerably better progression than the DAX. This development of the index
illustrates the growth character of the participating companies. The admission
to the index supports the analysts' strong "buy" recommendation for Biofrontera
shares.
Biofrontera's management considers the inclusion in the Index an appreciation of
the consequent work of the recent months and years, and of the investor
relations activities that accompanied the strong progress in the operative
business. Multiple resources were used in addition to the company's own press
releases, aiming at providing share holders with a transparent view of the
company development. Independent analyst reports in English were provided for
international investors. Interview-based reports were published in the financial
press and in stock market letters, which talk about the company increasingly
enthusiastic and with growing interest. This development was accompanied by
road-shows of the management, covering, in addition to relevant addresses in
Germany, also Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium and England. The consequent
and transparent reporting has led to the high number of more than 1,400 share
holders, a free float of about 70% and, consequently, a reduced cluster risk in
the share price.
