Wenche Agerup new member of Hydro's Corporate Management Board

Wenche Agerup has been appointed executive vice president and head of Corporate
Staffs. Agerup, 46, becomes member of Hydro's Corporate Management Board with
responsibility for, Legal Services, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Human
Resources and Organizational Development (HR), Health, Safety and Environment
(HSE), and the Company Secretary
Agerup, who has a law degree and an MBA, has worked in Hydro since 1989,
including as plant manager in Årdal and as head of Mergers and Acquisitions
(M&A). Most recently, Agerup headed Hydro's bauxite exploration activities in
Western Australia.
The consolidation of staff functions creates a simplified and more efficient
organization.
Both Anne Harris and Odd Ivar Biller will step down from the Corporate
Management Board. Harris continues as head of HR and HSE, reporting to Agerup.
Odd Ivar Biller, executive vice president and head of Legal Affairs and CSR,
General Counsel in Hydro since 1992, will follow up Hydro's interests in Qatar
from Doha, reporting to Hilde Merete Aasheim, executive vice president and head
of Primary Metal.
All changes will be effective April 15, 2010.
