Sampo's Annual Report 2009 has been published

Sampo has published its Online Annual Report for 2009 at
www.sampo.com/annualreport . The Annual
Report is available in Swedish at www.sampo.com/arsredovisning
. The financial statements of the Group's
subsidiaries are also available at the above mentioned websites. The PDF file of
Sampo's Annual Report is attached to this release.

The Annual Report will be sent by mail automatically to shareholders holding
minimum of 2,000 Sampo plc shares. Mailing will start during the week 11.
