Sandvika, March 4, 2010: Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (REC) hereby gives
notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting in the company to be held on Thursday
March 25, 2010 at 9:00 am (Oslo time), at REC's head office in Kjørboveien
29, 1337 Sandvika, Norway.
The sole purpose of the meeting is to consider a proposal to amend REC's
Articles of Association, thereby allowing for documents that are to be
considered at general meetings being made available on the company's web site
instead of being sent by post to all shareholders with the notice of the
meeting.
The notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting, and the attendance and proxy
forms, are distributed to each shareholder with a known address. A copy of the
notice is attached hereto. Information about the Extraordinary General Meeting
