Farstad Shipping is awarded OSJ's "Shipowner of the Year"

During the Offshore Support Vessel Conference in London 17 February 2010,
organized by the magazine Offshore Support Journal and one of the greater annual
events for the industry, Farstad Shipping ASA received the Shipowner of the Year
Award.
On top of that, Farstad Shipping ASA together with Rolls Royce Marine received
the Innovation of the Year Award for the new cable lifter changing system,
designed and manufactured by Rolls Royce in cooperation with IP Huse on inquiry
from Farstad Shipping ASA. The equipment is installed on board a series of four
anchor handler vessels type UT731CD built at STX Norway Offshore Langsten, where
the last one will be delivered by the end of March 2010.
The functionality of the systems already used for a period of time have proven
very satisfactory.
Both awards represents another acknowledgment of our work for a safer working
place and a more efficient operation with less impact on the environment.

Farstad Shipping's fleet currently consists of 57 vessels (30 AHTS, 24 PSV and
3 SUBSEA) and 1 AHTS under construction at Norwegian yard. The company's
